Aisha Hinds

Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actor who is most well famous for her appearances in the television shows 'The Shield' and 'True Blood'. She has shown her versatility from the moment she made her television debut in 2003. Her performance has impressed viewers in shows like "9-1-1", "Detroit 1-8-7" and "Under the Dome". As of 2005, she came under the spotlight first for her performance as Anna in 'Assault On Precinct 13". However, it was her character as Fannie Lou (a women's activist for the rights of women) on the biographical 'All the Way" film that brought Hind to the notice to the general people as an actress. Hind was also recognized for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's"Underground," an historical drama. She currently stars on the procedural drama series '9-1-1' in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta "Hen" Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a third season.
