Kellie Martin, an American actress and filmmaker best known as Christy Huddleston on the period drama "Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the family drama Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Also, she is known for playing the title role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Born to a department store owner as well as a teacher in kindergarten, Martin started her career in acting at the young age of seven years old when her aunt who worked as a nanny for actor Michael Landon's kids, was able to help her get her a role in the 1982 series "Father Murphy.". In the years following her Yale University graduation, she started to focus on acting and was able to get major roles on both cinema and television.
