Sadie Amara Calvano is an actor from America who gained attention as the character Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom 'Mom'. Calvano is from California, and began her career in the sport of competitive gymnastics. Later, however, Calvano chose to pursue a career in acting. In 2010, she was first seen on screen with an episode of the CBS series "NCIS.' In the crime drama biographical movie J Edgar, she made her first appearance in front of the camera a just a few months later. Through the years, she's proven herself as one the most promising actors in today's business. In the 'NCIS' series, her performance which was nominated for the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance in a Television Series featuring the appearance of a guest Actress between the ages of 11-15. In addition, she was nominated in 2013 for an Young Artist Award, this time because of her appearance as a guest in the comedy series of Disney XD 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was a part of Mom's initial three seasons. She she also appeared in several episodes during the fourth. The role she played in "Mom" garnered her an award called the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
